It’s true Dell solved the original problem I was having, but other problems followed. After 2 more sessions w/ Dell On-Call (and all of these sessions lasted over 90 minutes!!!!), I still had "freezing windows" and other performance problems on my laptop. Today’s agent explained that I should never had had these 2 systems installed together, and the best solution was to uninstall the Spy Sweeper. The only other solution would be to return my laptop to factory condition. So now I’m out the money spent on WindowsLive OneCare and Spy Sweeper. Also I’m out countless hours struggling w/ these problems.
I contacted Dell’s customer service requesting some kind of reimbursement/ compensation/ restitution. They offered NOTHING!
I don’t understand how a company can stay in business when it makes no effort to right its wrongs.
I don’t understand how the administrators of Dell can live w/ themselves knowing their word is empty.
Why trust Dell?
Anyone want to defend Dell?
Is this the way of all modern business?
